River at a Glance: Welaka Public Boat Ramp

Location: Latitude 29˚28.719" N Longitude 81˚40.489"W This is the southernmost site of the eight sites sampled as part of River at a Glance. It is at the west end of Elm Street in Welaka downstream of Little Lake George and the Ocklawaha River. Water Characteristics: Fresh Water. Land Use: Natural forest, silvaculture, low density residential.
