The Effects of Gymnodinium breve Toxin on Estuarine Animals
Gymnodinium breve, Florida's red tide organism, was described in 1948 by C. C. Davis. Subsequent outbreaks could then be attributed to this unarmored dinoflagellate, yet outbreaks as far back as 1844 are suspect.
