Florida Scrub-Jay (Aphelocoma coerulescens) 5-Year Review: Summary and Evaluation

Public notice of this review was given in the Federal Register, and a 60-day comment period was opened. This review was completed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s scrub-jay recovery lead fish and wildlife biologist located in the Jacksonville Field Office, Florida. None of the review was contracted to outside parties. All literature and documents used in this review are on file at the Jacksonville Field Office and are cited in the Literature Cited section. We used peer-reviewed publications; interim and annual reports provided as part of local and Federal government contracts; data and information available on the internet; unpublished data; and personal communication with land managers, biologists, and researchers.
